talking with B. after a show of “während vor ihm sich die zukunft staut” about commitment. there is not even a proper german word for it. hingabe, widmung, verpflichtung…. we came up with something like in each performance, no matter who is watching, you will always perceive them as the most important counterpart of the world. there is always someone that you are adressing, in the rehearsal space there is someone and in writing there seems to be a secret space behing my screen where i put things in. call it “öffentlichkeit”. but recently i think that the best counterpart is always the one that hurt you most. but you know, there is alway someone that could hurt you more. and probably this is what i see in the audience.
